Meet Mississippi Momma

I’m Mary Leslie and I’m the “mom” behind MississippiMomma! I am a millenial, a Christian, a wife, and a mom to three little people. My last baby had a pretty empowering and out-of-the- norm entrance into the world and I have breastfed babies for a total of 5 years. I am a photographer, content creator, and MotherBaby RN.

MississippiMomma started out in 2018 as a fun little hobby with less than 100 followers.

As my account gained more attention, I really started to consider being more intentional about the platform I had. How could I use this to be a support to other women as well? So, here we are a few years later. I desire for this space to be a community for moms and for women in general. I hope you can find that support here as well as humor and some education. Every Monday we have “Mother Baby Monday” where we discuss a topic related to breastfeeding, women’s health, and even sometimes how that shows up in current events. So, welcome to MississippiMomma!
